Dr. Pratt is a 1966 Graduate of The United States Military Academy and a 1975 graduate of The Medical College of Georgia. He has been in private practice for over thirty years. He has been in practicing Psychiatry in Northwest Georgia for more than thirty years, and has treated over 13,000 clients during more than 107,000 individual sessions in his career.
Dr. Pratt specializes in the use of multiple psychotropic drugs to treat a variety of mental ailments. He has expertise in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention deficit Disorder (ADD,) and many other psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Pratt is currently accepting patients of all ages. In-network participation with insurance plans varies, depending on the insurance provider. Please call the office for details.
Frank is Dr. Pratt's oldest son. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at The University of the South in 1998, and received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2006. Frank then worked at as a Social Service Provider at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital for three years, as a senior member of the Social Work Department.
Frank earned his Georgia license in Clinical Social Work in January 2010 and currently works at Cartersville Medical Center as a Social Worker/Discharge Planner. Frank. He joined his father part-time as a therapist, effective February 7, 2011.
Frank is currently accepting a limited number of new patients, ages 15 and older. At this time, he is not in network with any government or private insurance plans.
Frank's areas of clinical intrest include marraiges, relationships, intimacy issues, bereavement, and life changes. His pracice is certainly not limited to these areas, however.
Frank also offers clinical supervision (individual or group) for masters-level candiates who are seeking licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMTF.
